Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations. The role also involves maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring that accounting transactions are properly documented.
The Accountant will handle documentation related to UAE Value Added Tax (VAT) and Corporate Tax, assist with tax compliance requirements, and prepare financial statements, cash-flow reports, and management reports.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating payroll accounting, processing vendor payments, supporting external and internal audits, and ensuring that financial records are maintained in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Candidates must have practical knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, Corporate Tax requirements, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or Tally is required, along with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Candidates should also possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage accounting tasks accurately and meet deadlines. Previous accounting experience in the UAE will be an advantage.
