Job Overview

Abdulmohsen Al-Tamimi Contracting, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading Tier-1 main contractors, is actively expanding its procurement and engineering workforce to support large-scale infrastructure, commercial, and MEP project developments across the Kingdom.

The Procurement Engineer will oversee end-to-end supply chain management, vendor pre-qualification, technical submittals, price negotiations for structural materials and MEP/ELV systems, and subcontract agreements for major project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & RFQs: Float Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to local and international manufacturers, material suppliers, and specialized sub-contractors.
• Commercial Comparisons: Prepare technical and commercial comparison statements (CCS) against project specifications, site drawings, and BOQs.
• Vendor Negotiations: Negotiate competitive material pricing, payment/credit terms, and delivery schedules.
• Subcontract Administration: Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and sub-contract agreements following company policies and FIDIC frameworks.
• Material Tracking: Coordinate with QA/QC engineers, project managers, and vendors to ensure timely Material Approval Requests (MARs) and job-site deliveries.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of proven experience in construction procurement or sub-contracting within Saudi Arabia / GCC.
• Technical Scope: Strong background in civil materials, structural steel, architectural finishes, or MEP/ELV systems.
• Software: Hands-on proficiency with ERP platforms (SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics) and MS Excel.
• Iqama Requirement: Priority will be given to candidates currently in Saudi Arabia with a Transferable Iqama for immediate transfer and mobilization.
